DAVE Wireless appoints John R. Barnett and Michael Moskowitz to its Board of
Directors

New wireless company adds Rothmans Benson & Hedges President and XM Radio CEO to its Board as it gears up to bring competition to Canada's wireless market in early 2010

TORONTO , Dec. 3 /CNW/ - Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless Inc. (DAVE Wireless) is pleased to announce the appointments of John R. Barnett and Michael Moskowitz to its Board of Directors.

"John and Michael bring valuable perspectives on the Canadian consumer and offer the Board a wealth of knowledge that complements our existing Directors. John R. Barnett, president of Rothmans Benson & Hedges (RBH), has had extensive experience leading large, successful organizations in competitive, challenging and highly regulated industries for over two decades. Prior to moving to RBH in 1998, Mr. Barnett was president and CEO of Molson Breweries.

Michael Moskowitz , president and CEO of XM Canada (Canadian Satellite Radio), brings many years of executive leadership in the Canadian communications and consumer electronics industry. Formerly President, Americas International of Palm, Inc., Mr. Moskowitz oversaw the company in Canada , Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2004, he was named a 'Top 40 Under 40' award recipient.

Messrs. Barnett and Moskowitz join Paul Godfrey and Michael Neuman on the DAVE Wireless Board of Directors. Mr. Godfrey is the publisher of the National Post and was recently asked by the Province of Ontario to chair the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Mr. Neuman is a former CEO of Bell Mobility.
