Pickering, ON, Sept. 25, 2017 /CNW/ - David A. Pidduck has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Purdue Pharma (Canada) with immediate effect. Since joining the company in 2014, David has been instrumental in diversifying the company's product portfolio through alliances, partnerships and licensing agreements while also leading the organization's commercial strategies across many therapeutic areas including pain, CNS, ophthalmology and a growing over-the-counter portfolio.

Dr. Landau will now focus his attention on his accountability for the independently operated Purdue Pharma L.P. organization in the United States.
