Canadian brand partners with TV personality and chef Eden Grinshpan
to develop a range of recipes featuring iconic DAVIDsTEA tea blends
TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - This Fall 2018, Canada's leading loose leaf tea retailer celebrated 10 years in business. Since opening the first location in Toronto's Queen West neighbourhood in 2008, DAVIDsTEA now operates over 240 retail locations in Canada and US, offering tea drinkers across North America over 100 tea options and above and beyond customer service.
To celebrate the milestone, the brand introduced a special 10th Anniversary Collection, featuring signature tea blends and iconic first-to-market innovations that helped DAVIDsTEA change the tea world, one sip at a time. The collection includes consumer-favourite loose leaf teas, such as Organic Cream of Earl Grey, Mother's Little Helper and Forever Nuts, as well as a selection of "game-changer" hard goods including the Matcha Maker, Tea Press, Steeper, Perfect Spoon, and more.

As part of the partnership, Grinshpan and Dietz, co-created a special tea-inspired menu consisting of unique tea pairings and infusions. The recipes were presented to media and influencers in an intimate dinner setting on the Thompson Hotel Rooftop in Toronto, where Grinshpan and Dietz were on-hand to walk guests though the culinary creations.

The recipes, accessible to the home cooks and tea lovers nation-wide, are now available on DAVIDsTEA's blog, Steep Thoughts. The dishes range from a tea-infused cocktail to an appetizer, entrée and dessert, including:
- specialty cocktail, a unique take on a traditional Old Fashioned, featuring Kashmiri Chai
- a roasted beet salad paired with Organic Zen Pearls tea (iced)
- apricot glazed lamb rack paired with Organic Nepal Black tea (hot)
- sticky toffee pudding with Forever Nuts tea-infused ice cream
