Davis + Henderson announces CFO succession

TORONTO , Nov. 11 /CNW/ - Davis + Henderson Income Fund (TSX:DHF.UN) today announced that as part of a planned succession, Brian Kyle has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the company. Mr. Kyle is replacing Catherine Martin who has decided to resign her position after 10 years of service in order to have more time to focus on her family responsibilities.

In making the announcement, Bob Cronin , Chief Executive Officer of Davis + Henderson said: "Cathy has made an outstanding contribution for over a decade, during which time we transitioned to an independent public company and significantly evolved our business. As our CFO and member of the executive team she provided insight and leadership that was greatly valued. I would like to publicly thank Cathy, on behalf of the Board and fellow employees, for her years of dedicated service."

Over the past several months Ms. Martin and Mr. Kyle have worked together to ensure a smooth transition. Mr. Kyle , who joined Davis + Henderson in July of this year, has more than 20 years of general and financial management experience gained from senior financial positions held at publicly-traded Canadian companies in the technology, aerospace, consumer goods and e-commerce sectors. Most recently, he was Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer of Teranet Income Fund. Mr. Kyle obtained an MBA from Queen's University, an Honourary Doctorate of Law degree from the University of Windsor and is a Certified Management Accountant.
