office. As Account Director/Digital Strategist, Weaver will lead the digital and integrated planning for several DDB clients, and play a lead role in new business development.
A pioneer in digital marketing, Weaver brings over 18 years of digital branding and marketing innovation to DDB

. He has helped organizations connect with markets, engage their audiences and effect change - using traditional brand development and nearly every type of marketing: direct, events, interactive, email and social. Weaver has worked both client- and agency-side in the
United States

Germany
. He joins DDB

from Edelman Digital, where he served as vice-president.

Weaver was instrumental in the development in some of the first corporate websites, intranets, social networks, ad servers, content management systems, online points programs, and artificially intelligent websites. His role involves expanding DDB Canada's business, opening clients' eyes to the possibilities of full market engagement and social marketing efforts, and helping clients understand ongoing shifts in culture, commerce and media.
"Over the years, I've worn many hats, from brand strategist, creative director, technology pundit and new business pitchman, giving me a broad perspective on how to approach marketing challenges and solve brand communication problems," says Weaver.
