Deadline for RISE Awards is Thursday, November 7

ST. JOHN'S, Oct. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - The deadline for RDC's RISE Awards, a prestigious bursary program for Level II students in Newfoundland and Labrador, is November 7, 2013.

The Research Inspired Student Enrichment (RISE) Awards provide Level II Newfoundland and Labrador students with the opportunity to attend research-related enrichment programs in the Arctic and throughout North America. Focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), the enrichment programs allow students to gain insight into R&D-related fields, providing the groundwork for students to make educated decisions regarding their potential study and career choices.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply today.
