LAVAL, QC, July 16, 2018 /CNW/ - On July 15th, 2018, Tommy Pelletier-Renaud, an inmate from Federal training Centre, died while in our custody.
At the time of his death, Mr. Pelletier-Renaud, 20 years old, had been serving a sentence of 3 years, for robbery, discharge firearm reckless life, aggravated assault, possession of property obtain by crime and disguise with intent, since May 7th, 2018.
The inmate's next of kin have been notified of his death.
The police and the coroner have been notified, and as in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
