MONTREAL, Oct. 24, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - On November 2, 2016, Decarie Motors will commemorate its 70th anniversary with the grand opening of its brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities for Bentley Montreal, Aston Martin Montreal, and Decarie Signature, its exclusive Luxury Pre-owned Division. The breathtaking new building, which is already being touted as one of the most spectacular showrooms of its kind in Canada, will launch a new era in the history of the iconic dealership.
The expansion, an ultra-modern retail environment designed in conjunction with the leading firm GKC Architects and the Bentley and Aston Martin design teams, will add 46,000 square feet to Decarie Motors' current square footage, making it one of the largest luxury automotive dealerships in Quebec. "This is our way of demonstrating leadership and remaining at the cutting edge of our industry for the benefit of our customers and our brands," said Joel Segal, President of Decarie Motors. "My late father founded Decarie Motors in 1946 and he would have been tremendously proud of this new phase. Since the beginning, we have been providing outstanding vehicles to discerning car buyers, with uncompromising levels of customer service. This showroom, which began with the acquisition of the land in 2012, elevates our commitment to a whole new level."
To mark the occasion, Bentley and Aston Martin will conduct two special presentations. Michael Winkler, President and CEO of Bentley Motors, Inc., and Mark Barnes, COO of Bentley Motors, Inc. will showcase the Bentley Bentayga, a groundbreaking SUV that combines unparalleled luxury with effortless performance and everyday usability, acclaimed as the most powerful vehicle in its category ever built. Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, and Christian Marti, VP and Chief Sales Officer of Aston Martin, will reveal the much anticipated Aston Martin DB11. The first in an all-new generation of cars, the DB11 is the most powerful, most efficient 'DB' production model in Aston Martin's history, boasting a 5.2L V12 engine, 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.
The event will begin with an exclusive press walk-through from 5 to 6 p.m. and an opportunity to interview key manufacturer's representatives, which include an impressive guest list never before gathered under the same roof. In addition to the above-mentioned Bentley and Aston Martin executives, members of the media will meet Paul Heenan, Regional Director Bentley Motors, Inc.; Kevin Jones, Area Aftersales Manager, Bentley Motors, Inc.; Tom Holtman, Network Development Manager, Bentley Motors, Inc.; Chris Clevley, Retail Facility Project Manager, Aston Martin The Americas; Beth Blake, Regional Marketing Manager, Aston Martin The Americas; and Dave Maguire, Regional Manager, Aston Martin The Americas.
