TORONTO, Nov. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - This December, Corus Entertainment's YTV has a holiday calendar packed with festive programming starting every day at 6 p.m. The lineup features classic holiday specials such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Frosty the Snowman as well as movie premieres including The Flight Before Christmas and Abominable Christmas. YTV will also air a Home Alone marathon including all four Home Alone movies back-to-back on December 22 from 11 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. and from December 16 to December 25, viewers will be treated to all-day-long holiday programming on YTV, featuring even more favourite holiday specials and episodes.
Nickelodeon (Canada) is also getting into the festive spirit, airing all-day-long holiday marathons chock-full of winter and Christmas programming from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from December 23 to 25.
Treehouse will debut new holiday episodes of Peppa Pig, Toopy & Binoo Vroom Vroom Zoom and Lalaloopsy, as well as an hour-long Mike the Knight special. Premiering this month, Treehouse viewers can also catch the premiere of an hour-long Thomas & Friends special flanked by new episodes of the series on Sunday, December 8, beginning at 1 p.m.

THE FLIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS (2008)
A young reindeer who suffers from vertigo learns to overcome his fear, takes flying lessons from a clumsy flying squirrel and heads to the North pole to save a troubled Santa and his fleet of flying reindeer. The Flight Before Christmas premieres Sunday, December 8 at 6 p.m.

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN (1969) and FROSTY RETURNS (1992)
A living snowman and a little girl struggle to elude a greedy magician who is after the snowman's magic hat. In Frosty Returns, The adventures of the famous snowman continue as he goes up against a more powerful force, which threatens all of Christmas. ABOMINABLE CHRISTMAS (2012) (PREMIERE)
After two Abominable Snowkids are chased from their mountain hideaway, they are forced to spend Christmas with the most feared animal of them all: humans. THE DOG WHO SAVED THE HOLIDAYS (2012) (PREMIERE)
The Bannister family is back! This time they are travelling to Southern California for the holidays to stay with Aunt Barbara, who surprises them with a new puppy named Eve. Everyone is smitten with Eve - except for the Bannister's dog, Zeus, who sees what a mischievous animal she is when no one else is around. After deciding to run away, Zeus sees Ted and Stewey, two thieves, trying to break into the family home while the Bannisters are at church. After two young elves give Santa and the North Pole food poisoning, they must redeem their Naughty List status by finding a way to save Christmas. The Naughty List premieres Sunday, December 15 at 11 a.m.
JINGLE ALL THE WAY (1996)
High powered businessman Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger), is hard at work taking last-minute orders from customers to whom he just can't say no, including his son, Jamie (Jake Lloyd), who asked for the hottest action figure of the season -- Turbo Man. Unfortunately, Howard is facing one BIG problem. It's Christmas Eve and Turbo Man has been sold out since Thanksgiving.
