Professor Sammis takes sabbatical to devote significant time toward developing psilocybin and cannabis intellectual property (IP) for Delic Labs

("DELIC" or the "Company") (CSE: DELC) (OTCQB: DELCF), the leading psychedelic wellness platform, today announced Professor Glenn Sammis, Scientific Advisor of its subsidiary Delic Labs has been granted a full professorship at the University of British Columbia as a member of the Chemistry Department. Professor Sammis has further taken a twelve-month sabbatical from the University and will be devoting his time to working closely with Dr. Markus Roggen in developing intellectual property (IP) for Delic Labs' cannabis and psilocybin research. Delic Labs is a federally-authorized psilocybin and cannabis research laboratory focused on extraction, analytical testing, and chemical process development. Delic Labs serves as the engine for the DELIC platform, conducting research and developing innovative product lines and intellectual property (IP), including psilocybin vaporization technology for future distribution across the Company's physical footprint and licensed psychedelic wellness clinics in the United States.

Dr. Sammis started his chemical education at Stanford University, receiving B.Sc. in Chemistry with Honors and Distinction in 1999. He then joined Prof. Eric Jacobsen at Harvard University as an NSF Predoctoral fellow and obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2004. After, he moved to Princeton University for a two-year NIH postdoctoral fellowship with Prof. Erik Sorensen. Dr. Sammis is now a Full Professor at the Chemistry Department at the University of British Columbia. He has built an internationally recognized research group working on the development of novel synthetic methods for the preparation of natural products and pharmaceuticals.
