TORONTO, May 15, 2014 /CNW/ - A new brand campaign from Delta Hotels and Resorts is inviting Canadians to 'Expect Even More' from the 52-year-old Canadian hotel company. With new room designs, new properties, and new programs and services coming onboard, Delta is working harder than ever to exceed guest expectations.
Delta Hotels and Resorts is embarking on a major national campaign promising Canadians to "expect even more" when they check in to a Delta hotel or resort. The campaign launches today across major broadcast and online media networks in Canada.
"We're returning to the market and challenging people to see Delta in a new way," says Charles McKee, Vice President of Marketing for Delta Hotels and Resorts. "We know that choosing a hotel brand is driven far more by emotions. There's a huge void in the marketplace that we can fill with our genuine Canadian hospitality and personalized attention. Delta intends to become the leading Canadian hotel brand, not just the largest, by surpassing the expectations of our guests, owners and colleagues."
Delta's new campaign is designed to showcase the strong sense of excitement and welcome that guests feel when they stay at a Delta. The new brand creative emphasizes that exciting things are happening which will surprise and amaze Canadians.
"We really wanted to change people's perceptions of Delta with a new creative vision," explains Geoff Lee, Creative Director at Olson Canada "The broadcast spot features an interweaving story of multiple guests, from business traveller to dining couple, from engaged couple to meeting planner, whose lives all intersect at the beautiful Delta Ottawa City Centre. These guest experiences will also play out online as vignettes allowing us to tell even deeper stories about how guests feel about the new Delta."
From coast to coast, Delta is introducing fresh and modern designs and opening new properties in cities such as Ottawa and Kingston that meet Delta's new brand standards. The biggest symbol of Delta's transformation is its flagship 46-storey hotel slated to open in downtown Toronto in December 2014. Delta also has plans to open the first four-star, full-service hotel in Waterloo, Ontario in 2014 and Prince George, B.C. and Thunder Bay, Ontario in 2015.
In the coming months, guests can expect even more as Delta introduces new programs and services, such as a refreshed loyalty program and a mobile app that will act as a virtual concierge.
Delta Hotels and Resorts was founded by a Canadian hotel visionary over 50 years ago with one motor inn in B.C. Today, Delta has the largest national distribution of four-star, full-service hotels in Canada. Delta offers convenient locations where guests want to be - from airports, city centres and resorts in top destinations. Delta is actively involved in its communities in meaningful ways through volunteer work, promoting the local destination and contributing to the local economy.
