TORONTO , Nov. 10 /CNW/ - Cline Mining Corporation ("Cline Mining" or the "Company") (TSX:CMK). Cline Mining is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dennis Z. Mraz , P.Eng. to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company.

Mr. Mraz has more than 30 years management, operational, professional and business experience, including General Management, Operational Management and Project Management, in major mining companies at senior levels in Canada , the United States and Europe . A Registered Professional Mining Engineer, and a Qualified Person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101, he has managed coal and other mines with up to 1,500 employees. Engineering experience includes underground and open pit coal mining, civil, geotechnical, structural, process and equipment design. Dennis also previously served as Vice President &General Manager for the 6 million annual tonne Quintette (Denison) coal mine in northern British Columbia; General Manager of 2.5 million annual tonne Luscar Sterco coal mine and plant in Western Canada ; Operations Manager of 1.2 million annual tonne Quinsam (Hillsborough) underground coal mine in western British Colombia ; Engineering Manager, Mining Manager and Operations Manager for 4 million product tonne underground potash mine and plants of International Minerals & Chemical Corporation in Saskatchewan. Dennis has extensive experience in the Management, development and operation of both underground and surface coal mines, as well as a mining consultant in Canada and the U.S.

Mr. Mraz will be responsible for the management and direction of all Cline Mining operations.
