The brand's Toronto-based pop-in will feature their new UltraCalming™ launches, mini-treatments, personalized skin consultations, a VR experience and lounge.
TORONTO, Jan. 8, 2018 /CNW/ - On January 17th, doors will open to the public at the Dermalogica Chalet – a modern and chic space where Torontonians can escape the extreme cold weather they have seen so far in 2018. The retail pop-up was designed to inspire consumers to address the sensitivity their skin faces during the winter months with the help of Dermalogica's NEW UltraCalming™ launches.
"Everyone's skin is affected by winter's cold climate in some capacity," explains Melissa Daniels, General Manager, Dermalogica Canada. "Our Chalet was conceptualized to create a comforting and warm sanctuary for people to learn more about their skin and how the new UltraCalming™ products can help them sooth damaged skin or proactively protect themselves before symptoms like dryness, redness or itchiness begin."
Dermalogica created a warm and welcoming brand immersive experience where consumers can fully test the product benefits and enjoy winter inspired treats in the lounge.
As guests enter the space, they will have the opportunity to test and purchase select Dermalogica products, book a ProSkin 30 or FaceFit mini treatment, and receive a complimentary Face Mapping® to help people realize their skin goals and find products that truly work for the individual. These interactive elements are taken to another level with the chalet's custom VR experience that builds in a mix of personalization, education and playing with skin.
Dermalogica's NEW UltraCalming™ launches eliminate the guesswork by treating top concerns of everyone who has sensitive skin. Whether it is a mild or extreme sensitivity, these new products are the ultimate skin care solution. The Barrier Defense Booster (30mL), $101 CDN, soothes and nourishes to restore balance to sensitive skin while the Calm Water Gel (50 mL), $65 CDN hydrates as well as forms a weightless barrier to protect skin from environmental assault. These products can be layered for maximum results, or used separately to address a specific concern.
The brand invites consumers to visit the chalet to spark a little warmth in their daily routine before the program ends on January 21st, 2018.

About Dermalogica:
Dermalogica revolutionized the skin care industry when it emerged into the marketplace in 1986 with innovative formulations, which excluded common irritants, including SD alcohol, lanolin, mineral oil and artificial colours and fragrances. Jane Wurwand developed the products to better support the advanced curriculum she had developed a few years earlier for The International Dermal Institute, which she also founded. Wurwand led the company's growth from an idea to the world's most-requested professional skin care brand.
Dermalogica today is sold in more than 80 countries worldwide. Dermalogica products are available in select skin treatment centers on the recommendation of a qualified professional skin therapist, Sephora Canada in addition to the brand's concept spaces located around the world and online at Dermalogica.ca. Dermalogica is made in the USA, with its global operations based in Carson, just south of Los Angeles. To learn more about Dermalogica, please visit dermalogica.ca.
