SnowBall 2012 - ELEMENTAL to turn Toronto luxury design destination AVENUE ROAD into the hottest club in town
TORONTO, Jan. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - On Saturday, February 25, Event Co-Chairs Tommy Smythe (HGTV's Sarah's House), Suzanne Dimma (Editor In Chief, Canadian House & Home) and Mark Challen (VP Communications, Canadian House & Home) will host SnowBall 2012 - ELEMENTAL, a very special gala and lounge party raising funds for Casey House, Toronto's HIV/AIDS hospital. The event is presented by BMO Financial Group.
For one night only, luxury design showroom AVENUE ROAD will be transformed into a living, breathing theatre of the senses. Ethereal art installations, exquisite cuisine and uplifting music will carry guests' souls to an enchanted world that will linger in their memories.
During the dinner gala portion of the evening, guests will dine amidst the soaring architecture and sophistication of AVENUE ROAD as "Grand Chef Relais & Chateau" Jonathan Gushue of Langdon Hall and his team prepare a unique dining experience. The gala dinner will also feature a live auction, as well as the presentation of The Casey Awards, celebrating the pioneering vision and social justice activism of Casey House founder June Callwood.
Following the gala dining experience, the party vibe will kick in as AVENUE ROAD opens its doors to guests of the ELEMENTAL Lounge Party, with environmental design by artist-designer Barr Gilmore transforming the elegant showroom into the hottest club in town. Featuring exquisite late night nosh by Chef Gushue, with chillout tunes mixed by smoking hot DJ Ticky Ty (Footwork, The Guvernment, The Comfort Zone).
Organizers anticipate SnowBall 2012 will raise over $300,000 in support of Casey House community programs, providing vital health care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto.
