LÉVIS, QC, Jan. 13, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group is pleased to be partnering with ACTI-MENU for the eighth consecutive year, as part of the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge. Desjardins, which has been the employer with the highest participation rates over the years, is once again holding its contest to encourage all Quebec families to adopt or maintain healthy lifestyles. One participating family will win $5,000 in the form of a registered education savings plan (RESP).
This year, Desjardins is participating in a new ACTI-MENU contest. During the six-week challenge, the 2012 Desjardins Health Challenge Family will be taken on a totally unique health adventure: they will make a guest appearance on V Télé's show C'est Extra! to share their experience, along with experts (nutritionist, kinesiologist and yoga instructor) who will share advice on how to successfully take up the 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge. The family will also receive $1,000 from Desjardins to put in a tax-free savings account (TFSA).
These initiatives reflect Desjardins's desire to help educate its members, its employees and the public about health.
This year's 5/30 Health and Wellness Challenge will be held from March 1 to April 11, 2012. For complete details and to register, go to www.healthchallenge.ca
