More scholarships in 2014, totalling more than $1.2 million
MONTREAL, Jan. 14, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - From January 15 to March 17, 2014, Desjardins Foundation will be accepting applications from full-time students in Quebec and Ontario for its 600 scholarships. This year, Desjardins Foundation will be providing more than $1.2 million in scholarships, ranging in value from $1,000 to $10,000.
The Foundation has scholarships open to all fields of study at the vocational, college and university levels. Some of the scholarships specifically target students in finance, cooperation and democratic life, as well as students with permanent resident status. Also, in partnership with Desjardins Financial Security and Desjardins General Insurance, the Foundation provides scholarships in actuarial science, geriatrics, gerontology and mental health.
