LÉVIS, QC, Nov. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group is pleased to announce the success of one of its managers, Marie-Claude Boisvert, COO of Desjardins Venture Capital and Vice-President of Development Capital and Business Ownership Transfers as a winner in Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 competition in the Corporate Executives category.
Organized by the Women's Executive Network of Toronto for an eighth year, this award recognizes women who have led exceptional careers and who serve as role models and mentors to others. Ms. Boisvert was very proud to accept this award, that, she says not only recognizes the quality of one's work, but also emphasizes career possibilities and other opportunities for women with Desjardins.
With her innate business sense, combined with sharp analytical skills and ability to listen, Ms. Boisvert contributes to the economic development of the regions through activities conducted at Desjardins Venture Capital and Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins. Her strong decision-making ability and generosity with her time is highly appreciated by her colleagues.
Beginning her career with Desjardins in 1994, Ms. Boisvert claims she is flattered to receive such an honour and be counted among these celebrated Canadian women.
