Desjardins Insurance's Plan Sponsor Ecosystem wins top honours from the Insurance & Financial Communicators Association

MONTREAL, July 16, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Insurance's Group Retirement Services' innovative Plan Sponsor services, known as the 'Plan Sponsor Ecosystem' has been honoured with a number of awards from the Insurance & Financial Communicators Association (IFCA).  IFCA is a leading international non-profit association serving marketing and communication professionals in the insurance and financial services industries.

Desjardins's new plan sponsor website makes it easier for them to manage their group retirement plan. They can save time by submitting plan and participant information online, on an iPad or a tablet. The website was designed according to the most recent research, which shows that separating tasks and functionality by colour makes it quick and easy to submit contributions, change participant information and find forms and guides. The award-winning videos illustrated the concept of stepping into the plan sponsor's world to become part of the plan sponsor's ecosystem.

"We used the same 'plain and simple' philosophy that we used with participants. We wanted to give plan sponsors better processes, easier web tools and more efficient plan management through a redesign of our plan sponsor website," said Charbonneau.
