CALGARY, June 7 /CNW/ - Desmarais Energy Corporation (TSXV: DES) (the "Corporation" or "Desmarais") announces the appointment of Douglas Robinson to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Robinson has been a member of the Desmarais team as a Director since 2001. His extensive public company experience includes previous roles as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of both TSX and TSX Venture Exchange companies. In his new role moving forward, Mr. Robinson will be working closely with management to help develop the assets of the Corporation.
