Desmarais to Pursue Pipeline Project

CALGARY, May 21 /CNW/ - Desmarais Energy Corporation (TSXV: DES) (the "Corporation" or "Desmarais") has entered into negotiations with a joint venture corporation to expand its pipeline infrastructure in one of its core areas. Upon completion, the new pipeline will facilitate the tie-in of additional wells in inventory which are currently shut-in.

Exploitation and optimization opportunities have been identified in several cased wells where Desmarais has high working interests and operatorship. The Corporation will continue to report on the progress of these operations on a timely basis.
