Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist to Debut on CBC
TORONTO, Dec. 30 /CNW/ - Dex Hamilton, the fearless alien entomologist and adventurer, will make his North American debut this Saturday, January 2, at 10:30 a.m. (EST) on CBC-TV.
Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist is an animated adventure-comedy (26 x 30) aimed at boys and girls 6 to 12 years old. It follows a passionate young entomologist and his team of maverick scientists as they protect both the galaxy and the fascinating alien insects they encounter.
The TV series was produced by March Entertainment and Australian co-production partner SLR and is distributed by UK-based Parthenon Entertainment. The series is currently airing on Australia's ABC where it enjoys the No. 2 rating across all children's programming nationwide.
March Entertainment has also produced a full-length movie called Dex Hamilton: Fire and Ice, which serves as a prequel to the TV series. It will also air on CBC following the first run of the series.
