Dialogic Extends Platform Leadership for Value Added Service Developers

PARSIPPANY, N.J., <chron>Sept. 28</chron> /CNW/ -- Dialogic Corporation ("Dialogic"), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, today announced major enhancements to its portfolio of carrier-ready platforms with the introduction of a suite of high-availability and manageability capabilities for the popular Dialogic® MSP 1010 Multi-Services Platform.

The MSP 1010 Multi-Services Platform is a flexible, high-density media resource platform with integrated signaling capabilities in a 1U modular design. The MSP 1010 has been deployed worldwide as a service node, intelligent peripheral, application server, and as controlled gateways, in TDM, hybrid and IP networks. With NEBS Level 3 compliance and the option of a redundant DC power supply, the MSP 1010 is now even better suited for large networks where high availability is a critical requirement.

James Glasspool, director of strategic marketing at Volt Delta International states, "Volt Delta is very excited about the expanded range of high-availability features on Dialogic's MSP 1010. Our market-leading operator services applications, including directory assistance and emergency services (999/911), are typically deployed in carrier environments where uptime is a critical concern both for customer satisfaction and for revenue protection."

MSP system software release 10.2.3 also includes capabilities that can reduce cost to develop and deploy new value-added services. New SIP call control functions, for example, can be used to shorten the development time for SIP-based applications. This release also enhances the controllability of CAS-based applications in a Channel Associated Signaling environment by enabling the user to configure and control those applications via a GUI interface on the MSP.

"The latest release of Dialogic's MSP 1010 has a great deal of synergy with important features of our ENTICE platform, from support for various levels of availability to the ability to be integrated into a wide range of TDM, hybrid, and IP network environments," says Derrek Schartz, Director of Marketing at Stratus Telecom. "We look forward to working together with Dialogic to offer our customers the latest gateway and application server technology with ENTICE solutions based on the MSP 1010."

Dialogic MSP 1010 is part of Dialogic's broad portfolio of integrated platforms for application developers serving mobile and fixed line network operators. With its highly configurable Switchkit API, the MSP 1010 enables developers to fine-tune their applications for optimal performance and best in class customer experience. With over 8500 systems deployed with this API worldwide over 20 years, application developers like Stratus Telecom and Volt Delta have confidence their solutions are based on a rock-solid platform.

Information about the MSP 1010 is available at www.dialogic.com. Recent case studies on the use of MSP 1010 by Volt Delta and Business Telecommunications Services Inc.
