MONTREAL, May 3, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The closing show of the Signature Canada 150 Project Dictée P.G.L. 150: Travelling through History will take place on May 26 at 7 p.m. at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau. For the occasion, the LNI's comedians will take to the stage for a lively show.
This event will mark the end of a cross-Canada tour. Dictée P.G.L. and the Ligue Nationale d'Improvisation (LNI) will be travelling across Canada in May 2017, making stops to host workshops and improv matches in VIA Rail Canada stations (or nearby). Two teams will be travelling by train to six destinations: the first team will set out from Vancouver and the second will be departing from Halifax. These activities are among the hundreds of events organized with VIA Rail's participation to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
On May 26, the two teams will meet at the Canadian Museum of History to celebrate the history of Canada's Francophonie in a special way. This event is possible thanks to a partnership with the Canadian Museum of History. Free tickets are now available: bit.ly/2paJYEF
The project has been made possible with support from the Government of Canada, VIA Rail Canada, Théâtre de la LNI, the Alliance des radios communautaires du Canada, MAtv, Canal Savoir, Francolab and the Canadian Museum of History. The Fondation Paul Gérin-Lajoie would also like to thank the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Alliance Française in Toronto and Vancouver, and École de technologie supérieure supporting the cross-Canada tour.
