Program will offer education and hands-on technology training on a single platform to deliver advertising across all leading social media networks
TORONTO, May 11, 2016 /CNW/ - Digital AdLab, in partnership with AdParlor, the leading social media advertising platform in Canada, introduces the Social Media Advertising Accelerator Program.
Designed to provide advertising professionals and marketers with formal education and practical hands-on training in social media advertising, the Social Media Advertising Accelerator Program utilizes AdParlor's technology platform to train participants on the fundamentals of campaign creation, management, optimization, and reporting across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube via a single interface.
"Social Media are now viewed as invaluable media for reaching and engaging audiences at scale by leading advertisers, and are an increasingly significant percentage of their digital advertising budgets," says Raymond Reid, founder and CEO of Digital AdLab. "AdParlor's single interface technology provides an ideal comprehensive platform for in-software skills training across all leading social media networks."
Structured as a full-day intensive boot camp, the program will provide participants with a foundational understanding of social media advertising, platforms and technologies, in addition to hands-on training utilizing AdParlor's technology platform to experience firsthand the end-to-end processes of activating social media campaigns.
"We're so excited about this partnership because of the practical element it provides for marketers," AdParlor Senior Director of Client Services Paul Van Winssen said. "A technology-enabled approach is so important to really get a feel for media buying, as opposed to just reading from slides. This is something that isn't available anywhere else, and brings marketers the opportunity to learn social media advertising from a team of experts that lives and breathes it every day."
The Social Media Advertising Accelerator Program will also be available as a core component of the Digital AdLab's Business program, which will provide marketers the opportunity to receive in-house customized training for their marketing organizations utilizing AdParlor's technology platform and delivered by both Digital AdLab and AdParlor expert facilitators.
"As more and more marketers have taken social media in-house, there is a growing demand for practical education that will help them maximize the benefits of audience targeting and engagement that are now available across the various social platforms," according to Reid. "Our goal is to empower marketers with the knowledge and the most advantageous technology training needed to succeed. AdParlor's technology platform for social media helps deliver this," he concludes.
