CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 14, 2016 /CNW/ -- In support of Direct Energy and Direct Energy Regulated Services' commitment to Alberta, Dave Roberts has recently joined the Calgary team in the newly created role of Vice President of Alberta Operations. Dave will have direct responsibility for managing all billing and customer service activities in support of our one million Alberta residential customers.
Dave makes the move to Alberta from Direct Energy Business in Pittsburgh most recently serving as the Vice President of Customer Operations where he was responsible for overseeing all billing and receivables activities and call centre operations for the Company's business customers across North America. Prior to joining Direct Energy in 2006, Dave worked across the energy industry beginning as an engineer in the Canadian oil and gas industry followed by positions in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Canada and the United States.

Dave earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Texas A&M University. Dave and his wife, Dr. Janet Roberts, have two grown children, including their daughter here in Calgary.
