Discount Car & Truck Rentals Unveils New Logo as it Celebrates 30 Years

TORONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - Discount Car & Truck Rentals, the largest Canadian-owned car and truck rental company, today celebrated its 30^th anniversary with the unveiling of a fresh new look for its logo and trade dress.  The new design is the fourth evolution of Discount's logo since 1980 when the company was founded.  "Our existing logo has excellent consumer brand awareness" said Barry Singer, Discount's Vice President of Marketing.  "As part of our celebration, we took the opportunity to build on our already identifiable logo and refreshed the brand.  We very much look forward to the next 30 years and beyond, exceeding the expectations of the men and women we are proud to call our customers while welcoming new ones to the Discount family."
