March Break at the Delta Chelsea Hotel
TORONTO, Feb. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - This March Break, discover a truly unique family travel experience at the Delta Chelsea Hotel in downtown Toronto. From in-room "movie and pizza" parties, to reduced admission to the city's best attractions, we have constructed packages that cater to every guest's desires and budget.
Exciting activities are planned - daily and nightly - Chelsea Challenge, Bingo Bonanza, Family Fear Factor, Movie Mania and much more - an all-inclusive value of $100 per guest and complimentary with your stay.
New this year is Capital One Rocks and Rings - a highly interactive program that brings the traditionally winter sport of curling to the indoors for families. This unique program merges highly energized instruction with interactive programming focused on the basics of the sport, and utilizes customized equipment to enhance the curling experience without requiring any ice!
We are bringing back "DC," the unique talking robot that will entertain guests in our lobby and interact with your kids. Guests can ask DC questions about the hotel, city attractions, or even tell jokes.
Children between the ages of 5 to 12 can join Camp Chelsea - for a nominal fee - and enjoy a half or full day of activities such as arts and crafts, games, behind the scene tours, play Nintendo Wii, or test their inner daredevil by taking a 13-foot ride down "Corkscrew" - downtown Toronto's only indoor waterslide.
For the older teen crowd, aged 13-19 (parents not allowed!), we have the Teen Lounge "Club 33". The coolest hangout within the Delta Chelsea is equipped with a pool and air hockey table, big screen LCD televisions, two HP Touch screen computers with Internet access, arcade games and an Xbox 360. The entertainment is endless!
For those looking for a little rest and relaxation, the separate adults-only area on the 27th floor features a state-of-the-art fitness facility and pool.
Delta Hotels prides itself as being family focused, that's why across the chain we provide free accommodation for children 17 and under when staying with a parent or guardian. Kids eat for free from the special children's menu for children 6 and under, while children ages 7 to 12 years old, eat for half price from the regular menu or at list price from the special children's menu.
Step outside and explore all the city has to offer with our attraction and theatre partners such as the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Ontario Science Centre to name a few. These special offers are exclusive to Delta Chelsea guests through the Show Your Key and Save program. View all partners at www.deltachelsea.com. Guests can even book their tickets to the hottest shows and events through our on-site Ticketmaster and TicketKing outlets at the time they book their room - one call does it all!
