New live-action comedy series premieres Monday, March 12 at 3 p.m. ET
TORONTO, Feb. 15, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Astral's Disney XD enters the world of bionic beings with the series premiere of Lab Rats on Monday, March 12 at 3 p.m. ET. The live-action comedy series follows 14-year-old Leo and his newfound "siblings," a trio of super-human teens, who together learn to navigate a typical high school with not-so-typical bionic glitches.
In the premiere episode, airing on Monday, March 12 at 3 p.m. ET, Leo discovers an underground lab in the new high-tech home he shares with his inventor stepdad, Donald Davenport, his mom Tasha and Eddy the "smart house" computer. There he discovers a secret underground lab with three experiments, super-human teens: Adam the strong one, Bree the fast one and Chase the smart one. When the trio convinces Leo to take them to high school, Leo finds that their presence elevates his social status even if their bionic abilities can sometimes cause unpredictable disruptions to campus life. However, Davenport isn't happy about his creations leaving the lab and the family as a whole work together in order to give the bionic teens the freedom they desire while still keeping their powers a secret. Lab Rats will air in its regular time slot on Saturdays at 6 p.m. ET starting Saturday, March 17 on Disney XD.
