MONTREAL, July 15, 2015 /CNW/ - One of Canada's leading independent telecommunications companies, Distributel Communications Limited (Distributel), today announced an expansion that will make the company's high-speed cable Internet services available to an additional 29 cities throughout Quebec. Cities such as Trois-Rivieres, Rimouski, Drummondville, Saint-Hyacinthe and Shawinigan finally have competitive Internet solutions.
"Distributel has aggressive plans to expand our cable footprint throughout Canada, and we're starting in Quebec," says Matt Stein, CEO of Distributel. "For more than 25 years, Quebecers have relied on Distributel to introduce new competitive solutions in the telecommunications market, and today we are doing it again. Many of the cities where we're introducing our service have historically had only one Internet provider. Distributel offers competitive high-speed Internet and phone services, and we're proud to take a leadership role in bringing an alternative Internet solution to even more cities in Quebec."
High-Speed Internet Cable services offered by Distributel are competitively priced. Monthly rates for unlimited usage are between $49.95 and $89.95, depending on the download speed (between 15 and 55 Mbps). In select cities, the new services are further discounted when bundled with TV, phone and long-distance services.
