Dmitry Shashkov, Head of Fabricated Products Division, is Leaving H.C. Starck

MUNICH, Germany, Aug. 1, 2016 /CNW/ - Dmitry Shashkov, President and CEO of the Fabricated Products Division, is leaving H.C. Starck as of August 1, at his own request to pursue new opportunities. Mark Confroy, currently the COO of the Fabricated Products, will take over as head of the Division in the interim.

Dr. Dmitry Shashkov joined H.C. Starck in the role of Head of Fabricated Products Division in 2010 and served as a member of the Executive Board from 2012 until June 2016. Dmitry made a significant contribution to the positive development and clear strategic alignment of the Fabricated Products Division in recent years. In addition, he also played a formative role in his position in the further development and evolution of the overall H.C. Starck Group. With his personal hard work and dedication and his in-depth understanding of customers and the relevant markets, he made substantial contributions to ensure that the Fabricated Products Division was able to assert itself successfully in recent years, even in a tough market environment.
