Don Cherry and Simply Pets Launch Rock 'em Jerky and Natural Mini Bites Dog Treats at Walmart Canada

Proceeds from sales will support the new Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation

MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 19, 2015 /CNW/ - Don Cherry and Simply Pets announced today the launch of Rock 'em Jerky and Natural Mini Bites Dog Treats, a new line of dog treats now available at more than 350 Walmart stores nationwide and on walmart.ca.

Simply Pets artisanal treats are made in Canada, from domestic and imported ingredients. The main ingredients include chicken, whitefish and venison and there are no artificial flavours or additives.  Other ingredients include dehydrated apples, rolled oats and buckwheat flour. The treat assortment includes Turkey Clubhouse, Bacon Cheddar, Venison and Whitefish, and for dogs with a sweet tooth, there's a Cinnamon Bun Mini Bite.

For every Simply Pets product purchased, Don Cherry will donate .15 to .30 cents (depending upon the sku purchased) to Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation.  Don insisted that 100% of his portion of the proceeds goes to Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation. "I've had pets my whole life. From raising rabbits as a little boy, to owning my beloved Blue. There has always been a special place in my heart for dogs. I feel if you meet someone who is mean to a dog, chances are, the way they treat people will not be far off," says Don Cherry.
