DoorDash Expands Service In Edmonton, St. Albert, And Sherwood Park Offering Door-To-Door Delivery From Top Local Restaurants
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 4, 2017 /CNW/ -- DoorDash -- the technology company connecting customers with the best local businesses through door-to-door delivery -- today announced service to more than 20 neighborhoods in the cities of Edmonton, St. Albert, and Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, including Strathcona, Beverly, Silver Berry, Ottewell, Balwin, Blue Quill, Jasper Place, Pleasantview and Terra Losa. This announcement marks DoorDash's expansion into its fourth market in Canada and 48th major metropolitan markets across North America.
At launch, delivery through DoorDash is available from more than 100 restaurants in the area, with free delivery for the first three months. Delivery is available from 10:00am until 10:00pm from a vast selection of local favorites including Rostizado, Leva, Pasta Pantry, Sherlock Holmes Pubs, and Oodle Noodle. DoorDash's national partnership with Burger's Priest will extend into the Edmonton area as well.

In addition to offering free delivery for the first three months, DoorDash is celebrating this new launch with several additional promotions. On Thursday, October 5th from 2-4pm, DoorDash will be giving away 200 lunch-sized churro desserts from Rostizado, limit one per customer. And on Sunday, October 15 from 2-4pm, DoorDash will give away free pasta from Pasta Pantry.
