MONTREAL, Oct. 30, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Quebec dentists have elected Dr. Barry Dolman as President of their professional order for a second consecutive term. The results of the general vote were counted today at the Head Office of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, with Doctors Nancy Lalancette, Daniel Montminy and Jean-Guy Vallée acting as scrutineers.
Dr. Dolman holds a Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University, and has been in private practice in Montreal since 1975. He is also Chair of the Canadian Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Dental Regulators.
A Fellow of the Académie dentaire du Québec, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentistry, Dr. Dolman is also an honorary member of the Canadian Dental Association, a lifetime member of the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec and former President of the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Dolman has been re-elected for a four-year term. He was first elected as President in a general vote on November 3, 2011.
