DR. DENNIS BHUI ELECTED PAR-BC PRESIDENT

VANCOUVER, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - The Professional Association of Residents of British Columbia (PAR-BC) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Dennis Bhui as PAR-BC President. Dr. Bhui completed his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering at UBC before pursuing his medical education at the University of Western Ontario. He returned to British Columbia for his residency training where he is currently a fourth year Resident in Ophthalmology.

Joining Dr. Bhui on the Board of Directors are Dr. May Tee, Immediate Past President, Dr. Sana Ahmed, Vice President, Dr. Jason Wong, Director of Finance, and Dr. Janice Wong, Director of Communications. Members-at-large are Drs. Alex Anawati, Nancy Fu, Sam Gharbi, Sarah Lea, Joanna Oda, Jessica Otte and Yangmin Zeng.

In addition, we would like to announce the return of our Executive Director, Pria Sandhu, from her maternity leave.

PAR-BC represents approximately 1071 Resident Physicians throughout British Columbia.
