Dentistry From The Heart on July 17 in Edmonton

EDMONTON, July 13 /CNW/ - Dr. Brian Wong is out to change lives by offering free smiles to anyone who needs dental work, as he hosts the latest event for Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) on July 17, 2010.

The media is invited to join, Drs. Brian and Brandon Wong and volunteers to help 100 people in need of dental work - treating patients in need of fillings, extractions and cleanings. Over the past 4 years Dr. Brian Wong has helped many patients in need, but this event will be the first conducted with his twin brother Dr. Brandon Wong.

Dentistry From The Heart is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission - making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a Dr. Vincent Monticciolo in New Port Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured Americans. Over 100 million Americans alone lack dental insurance, and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn't an option for those less fortunate. To date, DFTH has helped more than 30,000 patients and provided over $5.5 million in dental care.
