MONTREAL, June 12, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Drs. Luc Boileau and Abraham Fuks joined the Board of Directors at the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal (IRCM). Their appointment was confirmed during the annual general meeting held yesterday.

About Luc Boileau
Luc Boileau is President and Director General of the Institut national de santé publique du Québec. He obtained his MD from the Université de Sherbrooke and is a specialist in public health. Over the past 25 years, he gained extensive experience in the management of health care facilities and public health organizations, as well as in the regional governance of health systems.
About Abraham Fuks
Abraham Fuks served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University from 1995 to 2006. He obtained his MD from McGill University, where he received his initial faculty position in 1978. His research interests have included the immunogenetics of diabetes, the biology of tumour-associated antigens, and the ethical aspects of clinical trials involving human subjects. He was also Chairman of the Institutional Review Board at McGill University for several years.
