TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Dufferin Mall, located south of Bloor in midtown Toronto, was crawling with stylish shoppers Thursday, October 15th from 6PM to 9PM as over 300 fashion savvy participants took part in Dufferin Mall's first ever ShopCrawl – a wildly popular shopping event in partnership with Canada's top online community, ChickAdvisor.
ShopCrawl ticket holders enjoyed an evening of spectacular fall shopping at Dufferin Mall's top tier affordable fashion retailers H&M, American Eagle Outfitters, Winners/Marshalls, GAP Factory, Dynamite, The Children's Place, Reitmans, Soft Moc, Call It Spring and Trade Secrets. Shopping bags throughout the mall were filling up as participants took advantage of exclusive deals, with retailers offering anywhere between 15% to 50%.
ShopCrawl shoppers were also treated to VIP parking. Charming Bell Hops were available to help out with directions and were even spotted carrying shopping bags for customers as they filled up on stylish deals. A professional photographer was on hand to capture all the excitement while top Toronto DJ Jovie provided the music.
A big hit of the evening were the exclusive SWAG BAGS full of beauty giveaways and valued at an all time high of $170.
"This is a first for us", explained Mira Kopanarov, Marketing Coordinator of Dufferin Mall. "We're very excited to showcase some of our top fashion retailers to new customers. ShopCrawl is also an innovative way to build a personal and long lasting relationship with our customers."
Also spotted were some of Toronto's top fashion bloggers including Girls of TO, Treats and Treasures, Fashion Stirfry and Canadian Fashionista.
Social media was buzzing with excitement throughout the night as popular hashtags #DufferinMallShopcrawl, @DufferinMall on Facebook and Twitter and @Dufferin_Mall on Instagram allowed participants to share their hauls with all of their followers. Three lucky winners also received a $200 gift card for sharing their shopping excitement on Twitter.
