Dufferin Mall to host anti-bullying event on Sat. September 24

Event will include remarks by NYT best-selling author Neil Pasricha and youth activist Hannah Alper

TORONTO, Sept. 22, 2016 /CNW/ - It's 'Back to School' month and Dufferin Mall is bringing together an entire community to help prevent bullying, which is one of the most troubling and persistent problems facing our young people.

What:	The 'BeAwesome' anti-bullying event will include a fashion show and remarks by youth activist Hannah Alper and Neil Pasricha, New York Times best-selling author of The Happiness Equation and The Book of Awesome.
When:	2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016
Where:	The Centre Court of Dufferin Mall
	900 Dufferin Street, Toronto, Ontario
Why:	The event is an opportunity to rally the community around our youth and demonstrate that through positive role modelling and kindness, we can all make a positive difference.

Interview and Photo Opportunities:      

• Hannah Alper will be available for media interviews before and during the event and after her remarks (Hannah speaks from 3:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
• Neil Pasricha will be available for interviews following his remarks (Neil speaks from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
