TORONTO, April 16, 2013 /CNW/ - TELETOON Canada's classic cartoon channel TELETOON Retro today launched a brand new family-friendly online cartoon trivia game, Toon Feud, which invites Canadian families to go head-to-head in good-natured rounds of TELETOON Retro-based trivia. In addition to an ever-growing library of trivia packs inspired by TELETOON Retro cartoons and general pop culture, Toon Feud will feature special weekly live programming events every Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET during the TELETOON Retro Fun Flicks movie. Live games and trivia questions will be inspired by the shows and movies currently being broadcast.

The first live Toon Feud event will be held on Friday, April 19 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET during the TELETOON Retro Fun Flick Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secret of the Ooze.

Available at toonfeud.com and playable via tablet, smartphone or computer, Toon Feud marks TELETOON Canada's first ever second screen offering and brings a modern twist to the popular "family game night" tradition. Teams earn points and badges and can keep tabs on their ranking among other Canadian families via an online leaderboard. Live games will feature unique badges and points multipliers, making them particularly valuable for contestants. Badges are shareable on Facebook through a parent's account.
