HALIFAX, June 18, 2012 /CNW/ - Shortly after unveiling its new, modern brand identity, Eastlink has officially opened the doors to the first four of several new and updated retail locations slated for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Phase one of the company's new retail environment includes new locations in Bedford (Sunnyside Mall and Hemlock Square), Truro (Truro Mall) and a major renovation to its MicMac Mall location in Dartmouth.
"The expansion of our retail footprint reflects Eastlink's continued growth as one of the industry's leading telecommunications providers," says Lee Bragg, CEO Eastlink. "We're more focused than ever on providing the best customer experience possible. As we make the foray into the wireless market, the addition of these new locations makes Eastlink even more accessible."
The new retail environment is designed to promote a warm, inviting and family-friendly atmosphere. Parents of young children can experience Eastlink's video entertainment services in the comfort of a home theatre-like setting, while the little ones enjoy a kid zone designed with them in mind.
In addition to the new look, Eastlink's new locations offer a larger, more open concept to facilitate a highly interactive, hands-on experience of all the company's products and services, which will soon include Eastlink's much anticipated wireless products later this year.
"When we designed the new retail environment we did so with the objective of inviting our customers to experience the full range of what we have to offer like OnDemand, HD, 3D and Whole Home DVR, and have fun doing it," says Bragg.
"Soon, our customers will be able to enjoy that same experience with our wireless products, which we expect will be very popular bundled with our existing products and services."
Eastlink's knowledgeable and professional retail staff is equipped with the tools to manage all customer needs and inquiries from hands-on product demonstrations to traditional account services.
"That means every retail team member is capable of introducing our customers to the latest video entertainment and communications products, finalizing sales, processing billing transactions, and managing equipment upgrades and pickups," explains Bragg.
Eastlink is busy finalizing the next round of new retail store openings, which will further grow our retail footprint in Nova Scotia and PEI. Stay tuned in the weeks and months ahead for more details on locations.
