Economical Insurance and local broker partner Gamble Insurance donate $20,000 to the 2015 YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

Funds will support families at YMCAs in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent,
Goderich-Huron, Lambton Shores, North-Middlesex and Central Huron.

SARNIA-LAMBTON, ON, April 28, 2015 /CNW/ - Economical Insurance and Gamble Insurance have teamed up to help ensure YMCA programming will be there for local children and families with financial difficulties.

Economical Insurance, one of Canada's leading home, auto and business insurers, and its local broker partner Gamble Insurance today made a joint donation of $20,000 to the 2015 YMCA Strong Kids Campaign in Southwestern Ontario. This annual campaign helps ensure no child is left behind and every family member who requires financial assistance has access to local YMCA facilities and resources. 

"One in six children in our community is living in poverty, limiting their ability to participate in these activities," said Jim Janzen, President and Chief Executive Officer, YMCAs across Southwestern Ontario. "The generous donation from Economical and Gamble for local YMCA programming will ensure that no child or family in need is ever turned away and that they have access to nutritious food, recreation and healthy environments."
