WATERLOO, ON, May 3, 2019 /CNW/ - Economical Insurance announced today that Dick Freeborough, Micheál Kelly, and Michael Stramaglia have been re-elected to the Board of Directors of Economical Mutual Insurance Company for a three-year term of office ending at the close of the Annual Meeting in 2022.
Their nominations were listed in the 2019 management proxy circular, dated April 5, 2019, relating to the company's Annual Meeting held today in Kitchener, Ontario. The votes were conducted by a show of hands. The following table sets out the votes represented at the Annual Meeting by proxy that would have been voted for or withheld from each nominee had a ballot been called (including the percentage of the aggregate number of those proxy votes):

At the Annual Meeting, Ernst & Young LLP was also re-appointed as auditor of Economical Mutual Insurance Company. The vote was conducted by a show of hands, with 282 "For" votes submitted in advance by proxy (representing 99.30% of the aggregate number of proxy votes), and two "Withhold" votes (0.70%).
