EcoRun to Begin Day 2 at BC Legislative Buildings in Victoria - 9:00am

Bringing Fuel Efficient Technologies to Your Community
VANCOUVER, March 26, 2015 /CNW/ - A fleet of vehicles showcasing the latest eco-friendly and fuel-efficient technologies will be assembled at the Parliament Building (BC Legislative Buildings) in Victoria this morning for a press conference, starting at 9:00am.
Thirteen manufacturers, 21 AJAC Journalists and 20 vehicles overall are participating in this year's two-day drive from Vancouver to Nanaimo, with a range of models, from subcompacts, compacts, family sedans and sport utility vehicles to sport coupes and pickups. The powertrains include pure electric, plug-in and conventional hybrid, diesel fuelled, high-efficiency gasoline and, new to the consumer market, hydrogen fuel cell.

- Tour #1: A look into the history and culture of Japanese Canadians in Steveston. Stops at Gulf of Georgia Cannery and Garry Point Park.
- Tour #2: A general historical look into Steveston with talks of films and TV in area. Ending with a look at the seedier side of town.
