EcoSynthetix Inc. Announces Inclusion on S&P/TSX SmallCap and Clean Technology Indices
BURLINGTON, ON, Sept. 21, 2012 /CNW/ - EcoSynthetix Inc. (TSX:ECO), a renewable chemicals company that produces a family of commercially proven bio-based products, today announced that it will be included on the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index and S&P/TSX Clean Technology Index, effective after the close of trading today, September 21, 2012.
Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announced the results of its annual review of the indices and the inclusion of EcoSynthetix Inc. on Friday, September 14, 2012.

The S&P/TSX SmallCap Index provides an investable index for the Canadian small cap market. The index is float adjusted and market cap weighted, and was developed with industry input as the ideal benchmark for investors with small cap exposure in the Canadian equity markets. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) serves as the distributor of both real-time and historical data for this index.
The S&P/TSX Clean Technology Index measures performance of companies listed on the TSX whose core business is the development of green technologies and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Constituents are screened by Jantzi Sustainalytics, one of the world's leading providers of environmental, social, and governance research and analysis.
