Edleun reports no damages to facilities following dramatic flooding in the Calgary area
CALGARY, June 25, 2013 /CNW/ - Edleun Group, Inc. ("Edleun" or the "Company") (TSX-V: EDU), a leading provider of quality early childhood education and care in Canada reports that following the weather related events in Calgary that caused widespread flooding in the city and its neighbouring communities, none of its centres were subjected to floodwaters. One centre is closed pending the return of water and sanitary sewer services to the Bowness community that it serves.
"Our heartfelt sympathy goes to employees, the parents of our children and residents of southern Alberta that have been affected by the floodwaters," said Dale Kearns, President of Edleun.
"With 22 centres in the Calgary area we are indeed fortunate that our centres were unaffected by this devastating event", noted Mary Ann Curran, Edleun's Chief Executive Officer.
The Company's offices in Calgary were also unaffected by floodwaters and a donation to disaster recovery relief fund will be made.
