Education First (EF) Announces New Awards for Excellence in International Collaboration
LONDON, Jan. 14, 2014 /CNW/ - EF Education First announced today the launch of the International Collaboration Excellence Awards (EF ICE Awards), giving businesses across the world the opportunity to showcase exceptional cross-border collaboration projects. The awards, launching globally, give organizations of any size or type the chance to receive global recognition and demonstrate best practice in operating successful projects involving employees from multiple countries.
As the global leader in strategic English language training for business and government, EF Corporate Language Learning Solutions (EF CLLS) understands the importance that cross-border communication and collaboration play in international business success. Andy Bailey, CMO, EF CLLS commented: "English is the undisputed lingua franca of international business, so international collaboration has English language competency at its heart, the two go hand-in-hand. We believe such international collaboration projects represent the norm for successful businesses of the future which is why we launched the EF ICE Awards to highlight best practice in this area."
The winning organization will receive global recognition as a beacon of international business success through EF's network and publicity channels. They will also be able to nominate two executives to attend a residential, week-long English course at one of EF's Executive Language institutes in either Boston (US) or Cambridge (UK), including accommodation.
To enter, companies simply need to submit a Word document of up to 1,000 words, via the EF ICE Awards website: http://www.ef.com/ice, that clearly explains the international collaboration project in question.
All entries must be received by April 1st 2014. The shortlist of companies will be announced on May 1st 2014, and the winner notified in June 2014.
