Educators Financial Group announces a new portfolio adviser for the Educators North American Diversified Fund
TORONTO, June 30, 2017 /CNW/ - Educators Financial Group Inc., the manager of the Educators North American Diversified Fund, previously announced that a special meeting of the unitholders of the Fund would be held on September 15, 2017 to consider a change to the fundamental investment objective of the Fund, which would effectively convert the Fund from a mutual fund investing in Canada and the United States equity securities, to a fund investing primarily in United States equity securities. In conjunction with this transition, if approved, the Manager today announced that Beutel, Goodman & Company Ltd. would be appointed as the Fund's portfolio adviser.

Today, the company has about $40 billion of assets under management, including over $4 billion in U.S. equity assets. Beutel Goodman specializes in the management of Canadian, U.S., and international equities in addition to balanced and fixed income mandates for institutional and individual investors.
