Educators Financial Group announces risk rating changes
TORONTO, May 17, 2016 /CNW/ - Educators Financial Group Inc., the manager of the Educators Bond Fund and Educators Monthly Income Fund, announced today a change to the risk rating of these Funds. Educators Financial Group determines the risk rating for the mutual funds that it manages in accordance with the methodology recommended by the Fund Risk Classification Task Force of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. As a result of its annual review of the investment risk level of these Funds, Educators Financial Group has determined that the investment risk level of the Educators Bond Fund has changed from "low to medium" to "low" and that the investment risk level of the Educators Monthly Income Fund has changed from "medium" to "low to medium".
These changes will be reflected in the simplified prospectus of the Funds, expected to be filed with the securities regulatory authorities in Ontario and British Columbia on or about May 17, 2016.
