Egg Farmers of Canada kicks off the holiday season with festive recipes and tips

OTTAWA, Dec. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - With the holiday season upon us, egg farmers across Canada are proudly sharing their favourite recipes and tips to make holiday entertaining easier.

Demand is high at this time of year as eggs are used in the majority of desserts that are created for party diners, are used in many main course dishes and even in some traditional beverages, such as eggnog.

"Holidays are a special time of year, but can also be busy. This is why we are sharing delicious yet easy recipes to help make holiday hosting a breeze", said Bonnie Cohen, Egg Farmers of Canada's Manager of Marketing and Nutrition.
