OTTAWA, Sept. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - As part of a new online outreach campaign, Egg Farmers of Canada is proud to announce a new partnership with three Canadian bloggers who have been selected as EFC's first-ever blogger ambassadors.
After receiving and reviewing 75 submissions, Egg Farmers of Canada selected a lifestyle, family, and food blogger to take part in their #CanadianEggs ambassador program. "Eggs are versatile, and ubiquitous. We are excited to work with these ambassadors, who each have a unique voice, to explore new ways of using eggs and share the benefits of this high-quality protein," says Christine Anawati, Senior Communications Officer at Egg Farmers of Canada.
Lifestyle blogger Tammi Roy created My Organized CHAOS in 2008 to help other mothers learn about the latest family-friendly products on the market. Based in Alberta, she was named one of the Top 10 Most Influencal Canadian Mom Bloggers for 2013 by Cision Canada.
Cheryl Kirkness launched her parenting blog Moms & Munchkins in late 2011 from her Saskatchewan home. She has since been named one of the top 5 Moms to Follow on Pinterest for Kids' Activity Ideas by Walmart LiveBetter Magazine.
Noshing with the Nolands is a food blog created by accomplished food writer Tara Noland. Tara is a talented cook whose recipes are often solicited by other bloggers, which makes her a strong collaborator.
"More Canadians are turning to online resources for information and ideas. From recipes to cooking tips to information about how eggs are produced to tips for staying active, Egg Farmers of Canada's ambassadors bring a wealth of knowledge and will help us reach new and enthusiastic readers," adds Anawati. "We are thrilled to be working with these talented bloggers and look forward to their upcoming posts."
Make sure to follow each of these bloggers for the latest egg recipes and for their favourite way to use fresh, local and high-quality #CanadianEggs.
